Payment & Charging

We use Stripe and PayPal as our method of Processing payments.  Both companies are very reputable and reliable.  You have an option of using an Express PayPal Checkout, which uses PayPal and major credit cards via PayPal or you can use the Credit Card option which uses Stripe secure payment services(Visa, Mastercard, and Discover).  All the methods are secure and information is confidential.  No information is shared whatsoever.  Your PayPal or Credit Card will charged shortly after the order has been processed.  If you have any concerns or question, don't hesitate to contact us. 

Apparel Exchange

Doesn’t fit? Well we want it to fit, this is premium gear will last many years so it needs to be right for you. Just contact us at Info@Ridgelinegear.com within 30 days of your purchase providing us your order number and your desired size. We want to make sure your size in stock so we can an accommodate your request. If you need the correct size apparel soon, it may be best to place an order and be refunded once we receive the item that does not fit.  If your size is not stock, it will be placed on back-order at your request.

For a hassle free exchange, the following needs to be met:
  • New condition, no signs of use
  • Tags still on apparel
  • Original Packaging
  • Ideally original box/bag used to ship
  • Within 30 days of purchase 

If you purchased the item from RidgelineGear.com directly, return shipping is covered by us (only on apparel exchanges). We will send you a PDF file that will have the return shipping postage. Simply repackage the item, seal it up, slap the postage on the package and send it out. If the item shows signs of wear, no tags, and does not possess the original packaging the return may involve a 15% re-stocking fee. I’ll even throw in a small paper notice in your order as a reminder to try it on before removing the tags and heading out on your adventure.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).


You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Shipping

We ship in the domestic United States. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to certain states.


When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping available. Depending on the product and availibilty, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.  Most items are shipped USPS or FedEx.  If you desire a specific service, please contact us so we can make arrangements.

Please also note that the shipping rates may vary if on a handful of items. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Warranty

Not all products have a warranty and not all warranties are created equal.  However many brands we do carry have an extensive warranty in warranty in place.  I chose many of brands due to the quality and backing of the manufacture.  If you having trouble determining the best method to file a warranty claim with a particular product or don't know who to contact, just asl us and we can assist you.
